Kingsdown Launches New Products and Rebrands Around “Sleep, Made Smarter” Platform

Kingsdown, Inc. will unveil several new products including its ultra luxury collection, Diamond Royale, two-sided additions to its popular Tradition line-up, and an updated innerspring Sleep to Live line at the Las Vegas Winter furniture Market.  These introductions were developed in line with the company’s new branding platform, “Kingsdown: sleep, made smarter,” which highlights the 110-year-old company’s industry leadership in product testing, extensive sleep research and employee owners who care about the mattresses they make.

Our commitment to sleep research, data collection and meticulous testing is evident in every mattress we manufacture,” said Kingsdown CEO Frank Hood. “When you sleep on a Kingsdown, you’ll feel the difference a smart mattress makes on your quality of sleep, and more importantly, on your quality of life.”

Kingsdown is the only sleep product manufacturer that tests every mattress before it leaves the factory, with state-of-the art equipment that assures the item you take home feels the same as the one tried in the showroom. In conjunction with its Sleep to Live Institute, the company has access to more than nine million profiles of various body shapes and sizes that influences the innovative products that are designed smarter.

The company is known for its extensive product portfolio and innovative and smart approach to mattress design.  Following up on conversations with its retail partners nationwide, Kingsdown executives and R&D teams developed several new collections being introduced at the Winter Las Vegas Market.  Representing a wide variety of price points, high quality materials and the best in sleep technology, the new introductions provide Kingsdown customers with a way to stand out against their competitors and offer higher profit margins.

Developed in response to retailer demand for an ultra luxury premium product, Kingsdown is introducing its most luxurious collection to date, Diamond Royale. The three model line-up includes the Sophisticate, Extravagance, and the Royal Opulence. Handcrafted, the mattresses are designed for the most discerning luxury consumer and use both rare and natural fibers such as pure high loft cotton, cashmere, merino and other very rare wools.  Diamond Royale ranges in price from $5,000 - $15,000 in queen sets.

Made to extend the comfort life and longevity of the mattress, two-sided beds have rapidly regained popularity. To meet consumer and retailer demand, Kingsdown is adding a pair of  two-sided models – the 13-inch Crest and 14.5-inch Coat of Arms – to its sophisticated luxury collection, Tradition. The new Tradition models are tufted, creating a classic elegant look and are made with fine fabrics infused with silk or cashmere, specialty fibers like natural cotton, silk and wool, and pressure-relieving foams with cooling properties that promote healthier sleep. The line extensions feature vertical zoning and cushion cloud construction for maximum comfort and pressure relief, along with Full Body Surround for enhanced edge support.

Each model is available in plush or firm. The two-sided Tradition models range in price from $1,999 - $2,999 in queen.

Kingsdown will also highlight the structural and aesthetic changes to its Sleep to Live by Kingsdown collection. The new eight model innerspring line-up is designed to provide scientifically recommended postural support through a core made of precise combinations of wrapped innerspring coils and comfort layers featuring luxury foam.  These SKUs work with bedMATCH, the company’s cutting edge diagnostic system, developed to help consumers pick a mattress that best meets their specific support needs. The new aesthetic features a sleek, vertically stitched, heather grey border.  Sleep to Live ranges in price from $1,999 - $3,599 in queen sets.
